Empathise:

1. I signed Jessica’s get well card because I felt sad for her for being sick for so long.
2. I let people play when they have no one to play with.
3. I help people when the need it.

Communicate:

1. I share my ideas with a group or the whole hub.

2. I smile and say hi to my friends and to the teachers.

3. I communicate how I am getting on by asking if i need help with my work.

Math - Measurement

WALT What did I learn to do, what was the success criteria?

Perimeter - is the distance AROUND a shape. You can find the perimeter by adding all of the measurements together.

e.g. 8 cm by 3 cm rectangle.
Perimeter is 8 + 8 + 3 + 3 = 22cm

Area - is the INSIDE of a shape. You can find the area by using length and width - you have to times the two together.

e.g. 8 cm by 3 cm rectangle.
Area is 8 x 3 = 24 cm squared
