Art Attack Week

What’s the goal?
WALT create a artist inspired art piece by Raewyn Harris.

What did I learn to do?
We learn to make a art piece.
We used youtube clips to help draw the koru and the patterns.
We looked at complementary colours, they are opposite each other on the colour wheel.

What is my next step?
To add more patterns on it rather than having big blocks of colour.

I am very proud of the art that I have created!!

Music - Anti Bullying Rap

WALT
·    To compose and create a rap (with beat if possible) about bullying
How did you go about achieving this? I think we did really good

What resources were used to help you? A sheet with rhyming words and each others ideas.
`
Did you go through the process on your own or collaborate with other people? Collaborated with Libby and Keira

How did you find the process? Pretty easy for me because we planed it first before writing it.

What did you enjoy most about the process of creating a rap?Getting to work with my friends

What might be your next step? Work on my own to create my own rap.

My Rap

Trying to be cool on my way to school so my class mates don`t call me a fool

I say Hi but they say nice try. You give me a smack on the back so hard I hear it crack.

You're so mean to me I just want to be free. You make me ache, I wish I was fake. You say my name you don`t wanna get the blame,
you just wanna claim to take the fame.

STOP BULLYING!

Multiplication and Division

Division

WALT Solve division problems using reversibility.

I have learned how to turn division problems into multiplication problems to help me solve them.
e.g
20 ÷ 4 = 5
4 x 5 = 20
So 20 ÷ 4 = 5

Multiplication

WALT Solve Multiplication problems using repeated addition
e.g
4 = 30
5+5+5+5+5+5 = 30
So 5 x 4 = 30

WALT use known facts to solve multiplication problems
e.g.
7 x 6 =
7 x 5 = 35 I know that it is one more group than this
So 35 + 7 = 42
So 7 x 6 = 42

I have learned how to solve multiplication problems using these ways. The one I find the easiest is using the answers I already know to help me.

My next learning goal is to continue learning my times tables so that I can use them to solve bigger problems.

I am feeling great about my maths. I think that my times tables are pretty easy now and I am feeling very happy with my learning.
